Hi All, Great giveaway this week thanks to Anolon Gourmet Cookware! The 10-piece Nouvelle Copper Stainless Steel set includes:

I have made your Potato Leek Soup twice already – it was love at first bite. Your flavors are very subtle, but lovely. The first time, I followed the recipe exactly. Lovely first course that did not distort the palate for a heartier main course. Second time I made this lovely soup, I tweaked it a bit for a main course. I par-boiled my potatoes first, then added them -skin on – to stock mixture. I added some cayenne, paprika, celery salt a touch of Old Bay. After blending ingredients, I strained soup mixture and poured over cooked shrimp. Topped with Gruyere and croutons. Yummy! Loved both versions. Thank you for sharing a lovely dish!

I had a conversation with a friend about banana bread yesterday and she said the recipe she found online was just really bland and not that great. I asked her what website she used and told her that one of my favorites was the chai spiced banana bread on Once Upon a Chef. I love chai anything and happened upon the recipe by chance actually. It was excellent and was the perfect mix of spices. It’s not a boring banana bread at all, so I can’t wait for her to try it and get back to me.

i loved the zucchini fritters! the only thing i would change is to add less garlic. . . but of course that’s just personal preference. very delicious! i would highly recommend you try these.

My kids surprisingly loved the beef stew with carrots & potatoes. Although they really only liked the beef. Maybe next time I’ll try it with noodles- they’re more pasta fans!

Love love love the Roasted Tomato salsa. I used a jalapeño pepper in place of the Serrano; just because that’s what I had handy! But the salsa is so good and so easy! Thanks!

I’ve made the Summer Vegetable Soup with Pesto several times. I love this recipe, it’s easy and hearty. I have modified the recipe by using chicken bouillon for more flavor and also boiled a whole jalapeno (stem cut off) in the broth for a moderate spice. I’ve used pesto and have also simply added lemon. This is my husbands favorite soup recipe!

Because I’m new to your blog, I’ve only made one recipe so far at home – the Homemade Granola. Loved it! The only change I made was to add flax seeds and pumpkin seeds.

I made Grandma Annie’s Chocolate Chip Mandel Bread. It was really great! Not as dry or hard as biscotti. I also didn’t bake it for quite as long on the last baking. I will definitely make this again and would recommend it. I look forward to trying more of your recipes.
